LinguaFlip ("we", "us", "our") operates the LinguaFlip mobile application. The website has no user accounts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
• Account information: email address, display name, and user identifier when you sign in.
• Learning data: completed modules, streaks, practice history, statistics, and language or level preferences.
• User-created content: custom flipbooks you choose to create or sync.

2. BYOK, VOICE, AND AI DATA
• API keys for Groq, Google Gemini, or Unreal Speech are stored only on your device and sent directly to the provider you choose.
• Voice recordings are processed transiently for speech recognition and are not stored by us.
• AI conversation input is processed in real time to generate responses and is not retained by us after the session ends.

3. WEBSITE LANGUAGE COOKIE
• The website may store one cookie named "linguaflip_language" to remember the language you explicitly choose for the website.
• We set this cookie only when you actively select a language or use the ?lang= parameter.
• The cookie lasts for 180 days.
• This cookie is used only for language preference. It is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics, or cross-site tracking.
• You can remove it at any time in your browser settings.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
• To provide and maintain app and website functionality.
• To show learning progress and sync your data across devices.
• To authenticate your identity.
• To manage service access, quotas, and product improvements.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
LinguaFlip integrates with Firebase, Groq, Google Gemini, and Unreal Speech. When you use these services, relevant data may be sent directly from your device to those providers under their own policies.

6. STORAGE AND SECURITY
• Account and progress data are stored in Firebase.
• API keys remain on your device.
• We use HTTPS and standard access controls to protect data.

7. DATA RETENTION
• Account and learning data are retained while your account is active.
• Voice data and AI conversation data are not retained by us after processing.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where applicable.

9. CHILDREN, TRANSFERS, AND CHANGES
The service is intended as an educational tool. Data may be processed where our providers operate. We may update this policy from time to time and will publish the updated version here.
